Moreover, an appropriate work conditions in respect of work, leisure, health and hygiene at the work places must be provided by the employer or persons in charge. For example, a company must provide the prayer rooms for the Muslims to pray. Under the Indian Penal Code or under any other law, i f any employees been sexual harassed, the employer shall initiate appropriate action in accordance with law by making an appropriate complaint with the appropriate authority. In particular, it should ensure that victims or witnesses are not victimized or discriminated against while dealing with complaints of sexual harassment. The right to seek transfer of the perpetrator or their own transfer should be given to the victims of sexual harassment. Therefore, an appropriate complaint mechanism should be created in the employerà ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã¢â ¢s organization in order to put right on the complaint made by the victim. Such complaint mechanism should ensure time bound treatment of complaints. Most of the time, the Complaint Committee headed by a woman and half of its member should be women as women always be the victims when the cases dealing with sexual harassment. The Complaint Committee needs to make an annual report to the Government department about the complaints and act ion taken by them. The employers and persons in charge also need to report on the compliance with the aforesaid guidelines including on the reports of the Complaint Committee to the Government department.[1] The employees should also be given the rights to raise issues of sexual harassment during Employer-Employee Meetings. [2] Other than the case and the policy of the government, we may also refer to the statutes, such as Indian Penal Code and Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act 1987 in dealing with sexual harassmentà ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã¢â ¢s issue. First, section 294 provides that if whoever does any obscene act in any public place, whether sings, recites or utters any obscene songs ballads or words, in or near any public place, can be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine or both. Second, section 354 provides if whoever assaults or uses criminal force on any woman, intending to outrage her modesty or knowing it li kely that he will thereby outrage her modesty, can be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine or both. Also in the Indian Penal Code, section 509 provides that, whoever intending to insult the modesty of a woman, utters any words, makes any sound or gesture, or exhibits any object, intending that such word or sound shall be heard, or that such gesture is seen by such woman, or intrudes upon the primary of such woman, shall be punished with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year, or with fine or both. In addition, Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act 1987 provides that, if anyone harasses another person with books, photographs, paintings, films, pamphlets, packages, etc. which containing the à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã
âindecent representation of womenà ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã , they are liable for a minimum sentence of two years of imprisonment. Section 7 of Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act 1987 further holds companies where there has been à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã

âThe Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013 had finally brought into force which dealing with the protection of women against sexual harassment at workplaces. This Act has in fact followed the decision in the Vishakaà ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã¢â ¢s case. In adopting the statement in the Vishakaà ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã¢â ¢s case by the Supreme Court, Section 2n of this Act has defined sexual harassment to include any one or more of the following unwelcome acts or behavior (whether directly or by implication) namely: (i) a demand or request for sexual favors; (ii) physical contact and advances; (iii) showing pornography; (iv) any other unwelcome physical, verbal or non-verbal conduc t of sexual nature; or (v) making sexually colored remarks. Further, the Act also add in the following which may also amount to sexual harassment: (i) implied or explicit threat about present or future employment status; (ii) implied or explicit threat of detrimental treatment; (iii) implied or explicit promise of preferential treatment; (iv) interference with work or creating an intimidating or offensive or hostile work environment; or (v) humiliating treatment likely to affect health or safety. At district and block levels, the Act contemplates the constitution of Internal Complaints Committee at the work place and Local Complaints Committee. A District Officer shall be responsible for facilitating and monitoring the activities under the Act. Every workplace employing ten or more than ten employees is required to constitute an Internal Complaints Committee. The Internal Complaints Committee is required to consist of at least four members, and its presiding officer is requ ired to be a woman who at a senior level. In case if no senior woman employee is available, may nominate a woman presiding officer from another office, administrative unit, workplace, or organization. Further, one half of the members must be women. Local Complaints Committees are to be set up by the government which shall receive complaints in respect of establishments that do not have Internal Complaints Committees on account of having less than ten employees and to receive complaints from domestic workers. Based on this Act, it also provides five steps of complaint process. First, a complaint needs to be made in writing by an aggrieved woman within three months of the date of the incident. The time limit may be extended for another three months if, in where the situation, the woman was unable to file the complaint. If the aggrieved woman is unable to make a complaint because of her physical or mental incapacity or death, then her legal heirs may make the complaint on behalf of the victims. Second, upon receipt of the complaint, the Internal Complaints Committee or Local Complaints Committee must proceed to make an inquiry in accordance with the service rules applicable to the respondent or in their absence, in accordance with rules framed under the Act. Third, the inquiry must be completed within a period of 90 days. In case of a complaint by a domestic worker, if in the opinion of the Local Complaints Committee a prima facie case exists, the Local Complaints Committee is required to forward the complaint to the police to register a case under the relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code. Forth, where the Internal Complaints Committee finds that the allegations against the respondent are proven, Internal Complaints Committee must submit a report to the employer to take action against the offender follow the rules provided under the Act and deduct his wages or salary and such deduction shall be given to the victims as compensation. Lastly, the employer must act on these recommendations given by the Internal Complaints Committee within 60 days. On the part of the duties of the employer, the case law stated earlier has been used where been put into the Act and makes it the duty for every employers to: a) provide a safe working environment at the workplace which shall include safety from all the persons with whom a woman comes into contact at the workplace; b) display at any conspicuous place in the workplace, the penal consequences of sexual harassment and the order constituting the Internal Complaints Committee; c) organize workshops and awareness programs; d) provide necessary facilities to the Internal Complaints Committee for dealing with complaints and conducting inquiries; e) assist in securing the attendance of the respondent and witnesses before the Internal Complaints Committee; f) make available such information to the Internal Complaints Committee or Local Complaints Committee, as it may require; g) provide a ssistance to the woman if she so chooses to file a criminal complaint; h) initiate criminal action against the perpetrator; i) treat sexual harassment as a misconduct under the service rules and initiate action for such misconduct; and j) monitor the timely submission of reports by the Internal Complaints Committee. If the employer fails to obey with the provisions of the Act, he or she shall be liable to be punished with a fine Rs. 50,000(RM2,675++). There are many different forms of police brutality. The most common form of police brutality is a physical form. Police officers can use guns, tasers, pepper spray, and batons, in order to physically terrorize or even intentionally hurt civilians (Danilina). Infact, as Danilina mentioned, The history of police brutality dates all the way back to the Industrial Revolution in the 1870s when law enforcement would physically abuse and harm the workers that went on a strike (Danilina). Police brutality in the black community was the reason why the Black Lives Matter movement began in the first place. It began with the incident of Trayvon Martin was shot by his neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman in Sanford, Florida. Martin was carrying iced tea and candy as he walked from a convenience store back to his fathers fiancee house when Zimmerman noticed him and believed him to be a suspicious person in his neighborhood. Zimmermans claim was that Martin hit him, and he took out his gun and shot it in self-defense. Later in 2013, Zimmerman was acquitted of a second-degree murder (Simon). A similar incident occurred in July of 2014 in Staten Island, New York when Eric Garner was put into a chokehold by a police officer and ended up dying as he could not breathe because he suffered from asthma. Garner was a father of six, who the police tried to arrest, in front of a store for allegedly selling cigarettes. The jury, later on, declined to indict the police officer who put Garner in a chokehold, causing protests and die-ins (Simon). This is seen as a sign of police brutality because the New York Police Department prohibits the use of chokeholds to be used, and still, the police officer insisted on utilizing it. Even though, it was his fault and absolutely against the law, the court and the jury declined to indict him. If this incident occurred where a white man was selling cigarettes, the police officers would have happily cooperated with him and let him tell his side of the story. The Black Lives Matter movement has been one of the most controversial topics in recent years. Many African Americans experience verbal and physical abuse. The slogan All Lives Matter is explained to have equality across all races and religions, though this is not the case. In November 2015, President Donald Trump said the Blacks were responsible for more than 97% of murders of Blacks and 82% of murders of Whites. Both statistics are wrong, the latter monstrously so: African-Americans accounted for about 15% of murders of Whites, according to FBI data (Smith). Many White people are content to see when they are blaming the Blacks for deaths and calling to the end of the issue. During President Trumps campaign, if he was elected he would make stricter laws and even enforce death penalty if a police officer is killed. Even though a president does not have the authority to do such, his primary goal was to attune backlash towards the Blacks. This account changed the direction of the movement and obscures the critique of violence, inequality, and failings at all levels of the criminal justice system (Smith). In 2014 and 2016 there were three ambush murders in New York, Baton Rouge, and Dallas (Smith). These accidents were committed by a gunman that wanted to seek revenge against police force for the violence resisting to the Black communities (Smith). Nevertheless, the Black Lives Matter movement backlash has gone out of reach, and one of the examples is the former mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani. He said Black Lives Matter never protests when every 14 hours someone is killed in Chicago, probably 70-80% of the time by a Black person. Where are they then? Where are they when a young Black child is killed?. This argument is a popular one because the blacks are being blamed when the White were responsible for taking their lives (Smith). Like the slogan All Lives Matter, it is a way of changing the subject (Smith). For the Black Lives Matter Movement to make it to the point where there is a change in society there needs to be civil disobedience, legal challenges, and new laws. These things all contribute to change occurring in a society (Siscoe). The different chapters across the United States are staging protests that cause an interruption in peoples lives and bring attention to the movement in order to get more awareness in the society for the controversial problem (Siscoe). All this movement has to do is cause enough ruckus so it reaches the screens of thousands of individuals in various parts of the world. Once it does this, and individuals realize what has been happening is wrong they will come together and fight as a community to get new laws or even change the laws that preexist. As Siscoe mentions one of the analyses of the Black Lives Matter Movement is that it is troublesome and the protests cause a little discomfort in peoples lives. Though this is not the goal of the movement, in or der to get more attention to the public, the problem needs to be heard by creating tension in the society. The main goal of the Black Lives Matter Movement is to fight the colorblind racism and change mindset and system of the American citizens. The freedom that allows the Black communities to allow large social movements such as the Black Lives Matter movement to grow and bring change to the face of the society, and change the view for the better. As Siscoe mentions this movement works at many different levels, it understands how the general populations beliefs about crime and racism work against any sort of reform to lower the racial disparities that are widespread throughout every level of the criminal justice system. Now the hashtag #blacklivesmatter has brought more attention to the communities and especially the government of America. In recent years, you can see how many people have understood the movement and have partaken in it. Many people around the globe are now seeing the negative effects of the brutality that the Blacks are unfortunately going through. The Black Lives Matter Movement is a social movement seeing the different races and ethinicites and bringing awareness that everyone matters. This movement is a theory in a world where Black lives are intentionally targeted to make it seem as theyre the only ones responsible for any incident caused. And for this reason, I believe that Black Lives Matter movement is important and should be noticed worldwide.

Economic Crisis There are many reasons for the financial crisis. Everyone, at one time or another, had to look through the want ads for employment. Public and private business demonstrate to be hiring, however, the unemployment rate has been reported at an all-time high. Rentals and refreshments continued to be sold as I witnessed the police reports of a homicide about a quarter of a mile from my former elementary school. Distance cannot quell the horrific memories of the cruelty taking place on the border. New schools and faces cannot change the experiences that form my identity. The placid life experienced in Virginia will not change the tyranny of the cartels these families live under. Where I skate does not change where my wheels have been.
